Signed out
Why the portal signed you out, and how to continue.
This page appears when the portal signed you out without you asking it to. When you choose Sign out yourself, you go to the sign-in page instead.
The page says why it happened. There are two reasons:
| What it says | What happened |
|---|---|
| You were signed out after a period of inactivity. | You had not done anything in the portal for longer than your idle limit. |
| Your sign-in needed renewing and could not be renewed automatically. | The portal regularly renews your sign-in in the background. This time it could not, so it signed you out to be safe. |
Choose Sign in again to continue. Anything you had not saved before you were signed out needs to be done again.
Why we sign you out
Signing out an unattended session protects your company’s information if you leave a computer unlocked. The limit is counted from when you last did something, not from when you signed in — someone working in the portal is never thrown out in the middle of it.
You choose the limit yourself, between 30 minutes and the portal’s maximum. It is two hours unless you choose otherwise. See Settings.
Signing in again is usually quick: if you are still signed in to your Incabus account, you go straight back in without your password.
