Cloud Backup

Your company's backup accounts at Incabus — how much they store, when they last backed up and roughly what they cost per month.

Cloud Backup backs up your computers and servers to Incabus. This page shows your company’s backup accounts: how much each account stores, when it last backed up, which modules cost extra and roughly what it comes to per month. You also create new accounts from here.

Open it under Cloud Backup → Accounts in the menu. Every role can see the accounts. Creating an account requires the admin or owner role.

The backup accounts

The accounts

Column
Account The account name, which you sign in to the backup client and the panel with. Click it to open the account.
Status Active, Suspended, or To be deleted with the date an account you deleted is removed for good.
Storage How much the account stores now: data and older versions together.
Last backup When the account last backed up, or Not yet for a new account.
Modules Modules that cost extra and are in use, such as Hyper-V: 2 VMs, or None that cost extra.
Price Roughly what the account costs per month.

The total per month is at the bottom.

The price is an estimate

The price is worked out from today’s storage and the modules in use today, excluding VAT. The invoice is based on the month’s average storage, so the amounts can differ a little. Storage gets cheaper per GB the more you store — see Price calculator.

Included means the account is not invoiced. An account waiting to be deleted is invoiced as usual until then, and stays in the total.

Manage your backups in the panel

What is backed up, when, and restoring files are handled in the Cloud Backup panel at backup.incabus.com, or in the backup client on the computer. The card under the list has the Open Cloud Backup button. Sign in with the account name and its password.

No accounts yet

If your company has no backup accounts, the page says No backup accounts yet, and the Get started with Cloud Backup card shows the way:

  1. Create a backup account. You choose its name and password.
  2. Install the backup client on each computer or server to back up, and sign in with the account. The client is in the panel.
  3. Choose what to back up, and when, in the client or the panel.

New account

Choose New account in the top right — see New backup account. Without the admin or owner role the button is missing, and the card under the list says why.
