Settings
Choose your language, and whether Incabus follows your device's light or dark appearance.
Settings holds the preferences that belong to this app rather than to your identity. Your name and email are not here — those live on your dashboard, because they may come from Microsoft, Google or GitHub rather than from us.

Language
Choose Svenska or English. The page changes language straight away.
Each language is named in itself — Svenska is Svenska even on the English page — so someone who has landed on a language they cannot read can still find their own.
Until you choose, the site follows the language your browser asks for: a Swedish browser gets Swedish, everything else English.
The choice is saved on your account, so it follows you to every device you sign in on. This device also remembers it while you are signed out, so the sign-in page appears in the language you chose. On a device where you have never signed in, the sign-in page follows the browser until you do.
The language applies to this site. Admin and Cloud have their own settings.
Appearance
Three choices:
| System | Follow whatever your device is set to. If your phone or computer switches to dark in the evening, Incabus does too. This is the default. |
| Light | Always light, whatever the device says. |
| Dark | Always dark, whatever the device says. |
The change applies immediately — there is nothing to save.
This browser, not your account
The choice is remembered on this device, in this browser. It is not part of your account and is not carried to your other devices, which is deliberate: a laptop in a dark room and a desktop by a window do not want the same answer.
Two things follow from that:
- Setting it on your phone does not change your laptop. Set it on each device you want it on.
- It survives signing out, so the sign-in page keeps the appearance you chose.
If your browser is set to clear site data when you close it, or you are in a private window, the choice is forgotten along with everything else and Incabus goes back to following your device.
